Here is one wiring diagram that describes the wiring system for all the 1985 BMW R80 and R80RT, the 1986 BMW R65 and the 1987 BMW R100RS and R100RT models motorcycles. The R models means that this models are for Road or Roadster models, and they are typically naked or not using a fairing. In the year 1985, BMW have used a counterbalance shaft. If we take a look at the the bike, we will now that this bike is for that road touring excitement, it has that classic old bike look, but not too old. I can picture right away cruising the road with this baby and feel the breeze in my face and let the sun warmth me. This bike was created for that touring purpose, that's in my opinion though.
