Shortly you will see the wiring diagram for the 1998 Suzuki DR650 motorcycle. This dirt-bike is a bike from Suzuki that has a quite nice handling performance, it's quite tame for a cross-bike, and with a low engine stress measure. The design are also nice, and one really good thing about this bike is its lubrication system. But to be honest, I think there are nothing really special about this bike. The common wiring problem this bike has is usually about the safety switches, both on the side stand and the clutch, you can read about them shortly.

This motorcycle has that safety switches, on the clutch and the side stand. They often become a trouble on this bike, when they are dead, you can't use the bike at all. The clutch switch system is the one that are most prone to the problem. What you can do to fix this problem is, or the easiest way in my opinion, is to have the switch removed and after the wire lead. The clutch switch is in behind the headlight while the side stand switch is located under the bike's seat. Other schematic components you will see inside are such follows: headlight, generator, battery, tail/brake light, license light, turn signal, side stand relay, rear brake switch, and many more. You will also see the wiring color codes here to help you determine which cables goes with which connections.
